Portable
Planetariums Home, the best-selling portable planetariums
company in the world, sponsored the Expedition to "The Fort",
known on internet as a probable Templar settlement in Rio Negro,
Argentinean province.
We
took as our base the Revolutionary Theory of Fluguerto Marti,
referred to the possible presence of Templar Knights in the Argentinean
Patagonia on Precolombian times (see Templars
in Patagonia) and the strong beliefs of the people of San
Antonio and Las Grutas, (both towns near to 50 km of "The
Fort") in the Province of Rio Negro in Argentina, as possible
settlement of a Templar Fortress, the place through which the
Holy Grail may have entered the Patagonia.
The
idea of the presence of members of the Templar in South America
doing an intense exchange of silver from
Tiwanaku
(Bolivia) to Europe in medieval times, belongs to the deceased
french-argentinean antrophologist Jacques de Mahieu, who succesfully
proved the presence of danish vikings in all the High Peru (now
Bolivia).
The
medieval Europe was flooded with silver from the Tiwanaku Empire,
by the Templars. Such traffic of this mineral went from Tiwanaku
through the shores of Brazil, where it was packed in shape of
ingots, and taken to the Templar port in La Rochelle.
This
was the origin of the economic power of the Order, and also, the
cause of its doom.
Our
restless spirit, always thirsty of adventures, took us with our
"Fitito" (and old Fiat 600, which we made lots of trips
with, documented here) to such regions in 3 ocassions: July 2006,
October 2006 and January 2007.
Everything
began with a simple adventure trip, just for fun: the challenge
of taking a totally inadequated vehicle to hard to reach regions,
to then becoming in a truly archeological campaign, that originated
many trips and expeditions that took us through all America, from
Argentina to Mexico.
The
first two trips were simple preview explorations. The third trip
was an archeological campaign with all what it means; between
our instrumentation we had metal detectors, GPS, night vision
binoculars, shovels, picks, and mountaineering equipment.
To
understand all this investigation we suggest to visit the internal
links shown above.
Is
good to point that outside "The Fort" we have achieved
many discoverings that include the first giant petroglyph in Argentina:
"El Choique", near Telsen town in Chubut.
The
possible settlements of the "Caesar's Cities" on the
patagonian provincies and many clues that include Templar Crismoms,
symbols, "gates", worship places and even astronomical
observatories and maps.
In
brief, this website is the beginning of an Adventure Saga, that
will cross all the continent and will be published in this an
other websites of the ring.
